An interactive symposium designed for cardiothoracic surgeons involved in robotic assisted thoracic surgery. 


COURSE DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this comprehensive 1.5 day educational event is to discuss and understand the most up-to-date management of early stage lung cancer, robotic surgical techniques, pre-op and post-op risk reduction and the best use of sealants and hemostatic agents in robotic assisted thoracic surgery. Surgeons will have an opportunity to observe several robotic procedures with a moderator at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. 

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

•    Review current literature for optimal treatment of early stage lung cancer and patient management strategies
•    Gain new insights into advanced robotic techniques for thoracic surgery
•    Demonstrate use of BD products in pulmonary surgery
