INTENDED AUDIENCE 

An interactive symposium designed for surgeons involved in hiatal/PEH repairs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing robotic hiatal repair and to understand the proper use of mesh materials. Discussion will include a review of techniques for hiatal, inguinal, and ventral hernia repairs, clinical data, and the science and technology of products. From the operating room, surgeons will see live cases performed.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

• Review current literature for hernia repair techniques, materials, and patient management strategies

• Gain new insights into advanced surgical techniques for hiatal/PEH, inguinal and ventral hernia repairs

• Demonstrate use of BD products in hernia repair
